A few minutes ago I went in to check on Emma, who had been napping most of the afternoon in our dining room. As I rounded the corner, I saw Delaney climbing up on a chair to get a better view of her sleeping sister. I tiptoed away to get my camera, and returned to get these two cute shots. Being a mommy sure has its rewards:

Keeping busy when I'm stuck inside... by Hannah!
Later in the day we made sugar cookies. I taught Delaney how to decorate them properly. She loved shaking the candies out all over the place.
We made a bit of a mess, but it was lots of fun.

I will get you! Look out!

Baby talk!
Last night was the first time that I have heard Emma cooing. It was so darn cute that I took a little video for your viewing pleasure. Here's our girl!

Snow!
For the past few days, the weathermen have been excitedly chirping about the big snow that was headed our way. As of yesterday, we were expecting 4-7 inches; our biggest snow of the season. As of 7:00 PM tonight, we still only had about an inch. Ergh! Silly weathermen!
But Daddy and Hannah were excited nonetheless, and bundled up to head out this evening. Bryan pulled the sled down to the CVS on the corner for some much-needed baby wipes, then the two of them headed for the hills. After shoveling the walk a bit, and throwing snowballs at Delaney and me (we were on the other side of the door--where it was warm!) they came inside.
Bryan commented that for being Samoan, Hannah sure loves the snow!
Emma... our growing girl
Bryan and I keep laughing about how big Emma is getting. She is actually chubby now! In fact, today I even called her "Porky"! Oh my! I am a little bit sad that I haven't taken nearly as many pictures of her as I did of Hannah and Delaney when they were babies. She'll be eight weeks old on Monday and before we know it, she'll be eight years old. So, here are some pictures from today. Oh, and by the way, she's officially smiling now!
(thank you, Aunt Missy, for the cute cow outfit!)
