Pizza Picnic

We had a week of fabulous warm weather. On Friday night we got together with some friends for pizza and outdoor fun. This picture shows the older kids out in the yard together. They spent the evening jumping on the trampoline, eating, and being silly.

More fun with friends

Jessica and Delaney are only six weeks apart in age. As soon as we arrived at the house, the girls sat down and started hugging. They stuck together the entire time and are destined to be best friends forever.
All five kids having fun!
Snack time. Delaney enjoyed sharing her cheese.
The moms.

Fun on the Eastern Shore

Bryan was away this week so the girls and I took a road trip to Maryland to visit my best friend and her three kids. The girls had a ball and the weather was perfect!

This is Hannah attempting to hit a ball.
Jen has a huge backyard so the kids could run forever.

Having fun at the local ice cream shop!

Spring arts festival at Hannah's preschool

We enjoyed a special concert at Hannah's preschool last night. The two classes are very small this year, totaling just 16 children. This little video clip above is just a glimpse of what we were treated to. After the concert, we snacked on goodies like party punch, fresh fruit with dip, and big chocolate chip cookies. The kids' artwork was displayed throughout the school, too, so we had fun admiring all of their creations.

Playing the hand bells (I should brag that Hannah did an awesome job with this. The music teacher (not pictured) stood in front and held up cue cards when it was each child's turn to play. Hannah stopped and started ringing perfectly each time. The reason why this is funny to us is because at this show last year, she rang her bell throughout the ENTIRE song. I'm sure she would've kept on ringing all night if the teacher hadn't collected the bells!).

Calling all adoptive mommies and daddies...

Adoption is a wonderful thing. As you all know, Bryan and I are very big, BIG cheerleaders for anyone who has taken or will be taking this journey in the future. A friend pointed out this very cute website and it just makes me want to shout, "hooray!". Check it out here!
