I have no new pictures to post, but our little pumpkin Emma is home safe and sound. After four nights in the hospital, she is thrilled to be home! And we're thrilled to have her here!

For weeks now Hannah has been planning to feed Santa and his reindeer on Christmas eve. Bryan took her outside right before bed and together they counted out nine carrots; one for every reindeer including Rudolph. They then came back inside to prepare Santa's plate of cookies. Oatmeal chocolate chip! Daddy's favorite!
I'm not sure if these are "real" smiles or not, but Emma seems to do it when I pull out the camera! Say cheese!

This afternoon we hit Chick fil-A for lunch before fighting the crowds at Target. We love to eat there because there is a nice, clean playland for the kids. Although the restaurant was packed, the playland was not, and Hannah and Delaney had a blast. Bryan and I were amazed at Delaney's lack of fear as she climbed like a monkey through all the tunnels and fixtures (I should mention that up until about a year ago, Hannah disliked these things and would get about halfway up before screaming and crying in terror. Someone would always have to climb up to rescue her. (notice I say "someone", which means anyone other than me!)).
Nana, Papa, and Aunt Nikki came to meet baby Emma last weekend. They brought with them presents galore, so the girls enjoyed an early Christmas and some fun with the family. The time passed much too quickly, but they're hoping to visit again soon. We hope so, too!
Delaney loves books. And I mean LOVES them. This weekend she spent lots of time reading (and singing) books with her Nana. Below is a video that shows just a little bit of her enthusiasm for "Five Little Monkeys".
