Our brother-in-law, Scott, had just returned from Iraq and Afganistan. He drove all night from NC to get to the lake. He arrived in time to celebrate his 6-year anniversary with Amanda!
The weather at the cottage wasn't great last Friday, so we girls got busy with the "good stuff"--Bryan's mom's Mary Kay stash. She sells MK and is a whole lotta fun to learn from. Meghan, Hannah and I all had a blast trying on countless lip glosses, shadows, and liners. Hannah got some application tips, and even scored various lip gloss samples that made her squeal with delight. Thanks for the fun time, Grandma!
MK herself would be so proud. Is that eye shadow on my 5-year old???!
Bryan will tell you that he has four number-one girls. But I think I know who the real number one is. I'd like to think that it's me, but I'll let you decide...

Delaney put on a brave face and tried her hand at fishing. She didn't get into it quite as much as Hannah did, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. I should mention that although the kids caught about 25 fish that night, we still had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner!
