Here is our baby girl in the same chair 5 years ago. (sniff! sniff!)
This afternoon Hannah and I were able to go out cruising in the Jeep. We went to Dairy Queen and, lo and behold, they had Girl Scout Cookie Thin Mint blizzards available! While we were eating, a lady bug landed on my leg. They are a symbol of good luck, and it was our lucky day indeed. (Bryan said that we should've offered the girl behind the counter $5 for a box of Thin Mints. Not a bad idea, since we've all been going through withdrawal!)
Our baby girl is certainly on the move. While Emma was playing in the playroom this afternoon, I ran upstairs for a minute. This is what I saw when I returned:

We met our friends at the park last week for some morning fun. Gabe, Robert, and Hannah spent much of the time overturning the concrete blocks that line the playground area. To their utter delight, they found all kinds of slimy creatures, including this big um, toad? Frog? Anyway, the kids were cracking me up with their shenanigans, which included kissing this guy. Doesn't he look thrilled?
